Seasons Change; Fall in Love with a New Color

As the days get shorter and the nights get cooler, we say goodbye to summer and hello to fall. Time to put away the bathing suits and flips flops and dust off our sweaters and boots. Don’t forget, glasses are a functional fashion accessory. As we change our wardrobe, it is a great time to consider new colors trending in eyewear. Pantone considers Fall 2016 colors a “unity of strength, confidence, and complexity”. Grab your pumpkin spice latte and let’s have a look at this year’s Fall Color Trends in eyewear.

Our two favorite color combinations this fall:

Blue & Grey: Blue has quickly become a top contender in eyewear color, competing with basic black and brown. Blue is very versatile. It is a new neutral that goes with everything. A smokey blue is softer and easier to wear.

Brown & Pumpkin:  While adding an orange hue adds flare, the brown helps tone it down to a more wearable color.  We love the burnt orange and brown in this BCBG. These earth tones are a perfect fall pair.
